  Leather Covered
Production Serial Numbers: 1,590,000--1,759,999
Camera #066740.
Lens: Carl Zeiss Jena Triotar
f3.8 7.5CM. Lens # 1702903
Shutter: Deckel Rim Set Compur 1-1/300 B&T
Filter size: 28.5MM push-on.
This is the ONLY Rolleicord with a f3.8 taking lens.
This was the first Rolleicord covered with black leather. It should be noted that the serial numbers (actually taking lens numbers assigned by Zeiss) overlap the model 1, type 1. The reason for this is that after1933, the two models were manufactured concurrently and the numbers were from Zeiss. Some lenses from this serial number range went on different models of Rolleicords and some may have gone on other cameras. This model has no exposure guide or depth of field scales.

Camera body number is located inside film chamber.
(and may have been the invoice number.)

Take a look at the Compur shutter used
in older Rolleicords
Here's something a little unusual!
A Rolleicord Vb with a Hasselblad PME prism, which fits on all Rollei's that have the removable hood.
On the right you see it with the PME prism and the Rolleinar Hood and meter
