The 2.8B camera is distinguished by the Biometar lens. The type 2 has a 3 point accessory mask on the hood.

Camera available with Planar or Xenotar lens. Type 1 with Planar. Type 2 with Xenotar.. No EVS system.3 point accessory mask on hood.
This camera has some coating missing from the taking lens, but pictures taken recently (Velvia) are spectacular for color and sharpness.

ROLLEIFLEX 2.8 C 1954-1955 (Type 2)

This cameras has the EVS system. The button in the center of the aperture control wheel must be continuously depressed to uncouple the EVS system. 3 point accessory mask on hood.
The 2.8 Xenotar was professionally recoated by Focal Point, and the camera given a CLA in March 2007.
ROLLEIFLEX 2.8 E (Type 1) 1956-1959

Shutter: Synchro-Compur MXV. 1-1/500th sec & B.
Serial numbers: 1.621.000-1.664.999.
Filter Size: Bayonet 3.
This is the last f2.8 model with a non-removable hood.  The self timer is combined with the synch control lever. This model also has a rigid magnifier.
Available with or without t type meter. EVS system guide on back door.  Available with Planar or Xenotar lens.

The White Face was a limited production special edition camera.. Note that the face is different from all other models. It's called White Face, but it's actually silver.

Identification: Rollei name on Hood.  1930s style name on nameplate.  TTL metering with TTL flash metering. No self-timer.
120 film only (no 35mm feature).

This is the only f2.8 with a top speed of 1/400th sec.
X Synch only and non adjustable pressure plate.
Small focusing knob.  Bayonets on both lenses.
Self timer. This camera has a 2 point accessory holder on the hood.  This camera is RARE!
ROLLEIFLEX 2.8f K7F  (Type 1)
1960-1981

60 secs to1/500th plus B
Filter Size: Bayonet 3.
2.8f precedes serial number. Coupled exposure meter was standard, but camera was available without meter.
Camera available with Xenotar or Planar lens.
Type 1 did not have the 12/24 option, but it could be fitted later.  Adjustable pressure plate, MX synchronization, self timer, and accepts optically flat glass plate.
