A photo just for interest and fun
I thought that some of you who don't yet own these cameras might be interested in seeing the comparison between the 6X6 Rolleiflex
and the 4X4 Rolleiflex.

The 4X4 Rolleiflex began production in 1931. In the pictures above you will see a 1938 Rolleiflex 4X4 Baby Sport on the right (the smaller of the two cameras.) All 4X4 Rolleiflex cameras used 127 film.
The 6X6 Rolleiflex began production in 1928.
For contrast, I have shown an older 4X4, and a newer 6X6.
On the left is a Rolleiflex 6X6 2.8F, which was produced from 1960 to 1981 and uses 120 film.

Both of these cameras have a f2.8 lens: the Baby Sport has the Carl Zeiss Jena Tessar, and the 2.8F the Carl Zeiss Planar.

Above you can see another comparison
On the left is an Anniversary 1929-1989 Rolleiflex GX. (6X6) Manufactured in 1989.
This camera has TTL metering.
On the right is the same Rolleiflex Baby Sport (4X4) Manufactured in 1931.

Here's another comparison---just for fun!
